REAL WOMEN
REAL STRENGTH
REAL COMMUNITY
LASTING CHANGE
MORE THAN A WORKOUT
You’re Not Training for the Gym.
You’re Training for Your Life.
Training should support more than what you can do during an hour of exercise. It should help protect your freedom to keep living fully for years to come.
Horizon Strong develops the strength, movement quality, power and conditioning that support everyday life:
The goal is not simply fitness.
Capability is the outcome.
THE HORIZON STRONG PRACTICES
Four Practices. One Stronger You.
Horizon Strong is built around four distinct group practices. Each has its own purpose. Each can stand on its own. And each is coached, progressive and adaptable.
You do not need to attend all four. Choose the practice that best supports where you are right now. Build your skills. Then explore another as your needs and goals evolve.

HORIZON STRONG
Foundation
BUILD STRENGTH. BUILD CONFIDENCE.
Foundation is where strength begins. Designed for beginners, returning exercisers and anyone who wants to become more confident with resistance training, this practice teaches the movement patterns that create a strong foundation for everything else.
Using bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, loaded carries, core stability and mobility work, you’ll learn how to train with greater confidence and control.
Technique comes first. Load, intensity and complexity are earned gradually.
1
PHASE 1 — LEARN
Develop movement patterns, breathing, bracing, positioning and safe loading. Confidence before intensity.
2
PHASE 2 — BUILD
Increase resistance, volume and complexity while introducing simple strength combinations.
3
PHASE 3 — APPLY
Bring your skills together into complete training sessions and recognize your progress in strength, control and capability.
THE GOAL:
“I know how to train. I feel stronger. And I trust what my body can do.”
2
HORIZON STRONG
Move
MOVE BETTER. MOVE FREELY.
Mobility gives you access to movement. Stability gives you control. Move brings the two together. Through mobility work, Animal Flow, yoga, ground-based movement, balance, locomotion, breathing and controlled transitions, you develop movement you can actually use.
This is not simply stretching.
You learn to own your movement.
1
PHASE 1 — EXPLORE
Build awareness through breathing, joint mobility, foundational positions, balance and simple ground movement.
2
PHASE 2 — CONNECT
Begin linking movements while developing coordination, stability and greater usable range.
3
PHASE 3 — FLOW
Create increasingly fluid movement sequences while maintaining control, awareness and confidence.
THE GOAL:
“My body feels more free. I move with greater ease, control and confidence.”
3
HORIZON STRONG
Power
STRONG. ATHLETIC. CAPABLE.
Power is not reserved for athletes or younger bodies. The ability to produce force, respond quickly and move athletically is a physical quality worth continuing to practice throughout life. Power develops strength with speed, coordination and confidence through appropriately scaled athletic training.
- Kettlebell swings, cleans, presses and carries
- Controlled explosive training
- Rotation and anti-rotation
- Appropriate jumping and landing
- Athletic movement patterns
- Martial-arts-influenced movement
You do not need to already feel athletic to begin.
Athletic capability is something we practice.
1
PHASE 1 — OWN
Build strong positions, kettlebell fundamentals, stability, control and safe power mechanics.
2
PHASE 2 — PRODUCE
Develop strength and learn to produce force more efficiently using scalable athletic patterns.
3
PHASE 3 — EXPRESS
Combine strength, power, coordination and athletic movement with confidence.
THE GOAL:
“I feel powerful. I feel athletic. I can do things I didn’t think I could do anymore.”
4
HORIZON STRONG
Metabolic
BUILD YOUR ENGINE.
Conditioning should help you become more capable — not simply leave you exhausted. Metabolic combines strength and conditioning through intelligently designed circuits, carries, aerobic work, intervals and pacing.
- Functional strength
- Aerobic development
- Loaded carries
- Pacing
- Strength circuits
- Work-capacity training
- Conditioning intervals
The aim is simple: perform more work. Recover efficiently. Maintain movement quality under fatigue.
No random, punishing HIIT. No exhaustion for the sake of exhaustion. Productive effort has a purpose.
1
PHASE 1 — CONDITION
Build a solid base with fundamental movements, work capacity and proper pacing.
2
PHASE 2 — INTENSIFY
Increase work intervals, strength circuits and carry capacity while maintaining movement quality.
3
PHASE 3 — SUSTAIN
Build endurance, efficiency and confidence in your ability to handle more work.
THE GOAL:
“I have more energy. I recover better. I can do more — without burning out.”
